Season 3: Infiltration Begins March 28
Arc Raiders Season 3 drops March 28 with a brand-new storyline, three fresh operators, the Obsidian Wastes biome, and a full overhaul of the Trials system.
The Arc Raiders team has officially announced Season 3: Infiltration, launching March 28. This is the largest seasonal update since the game's launch, bringing a sweeping narrative arc that continues the fight against the Arc Consortium's newest threat — the Shadow Collective.
Three new operators join the roster at launch: Kira 'Proxy' Vasquez (mobility/support hybrid), Dmitri 'Blackout' Volkov (crowd control specialist), and an as-yet-unnamed third operative whose abilities were only hinted at in the Season 3 teaser. All three will be available through the Season 3 battle pass alongside 12 exclusive operator skins and three new weapon blueprints.
The Obsidian Wastes biome is a volcanic badlands map featuring unstable terrain, geothermal vents that can be weaponized, and a new enemy type — the Magma-class Ravager — that attacks in molten charge patterns. The map is designed for both solo and squad play, with distinct routes that favor different operator archetypes.
Perhaps the most welcome change is the full Trials overhaul. The new system introduces dynamic difficulty scaling based on squad size and average gear tier, meaning solo players will no longer face squad-tuned challenges. Weekly challenges have been restructured into three tiers — Standard, Veteran, and Elite — with proportionate rewards at each level. The Feat currency cap has also been raised by 40%, addressing one of the community's longest-running complaints.
Season 3's battle pass runs for 10 weeks, with a mid-season patch expected around week 5 introducing the third operator and additional cosmetics. All players who log in during Season 3's launch window will receive a free Season 3 operator token, redeemable for any current-season operator.
