Patch 1.21.0: Quality-of-Life Improvements and Store Rotation

Patch 1.21.0 brings a new Raider Tool and Backpack set alongside stability fixes for DirectX 11 and several gameplay exploits.

Patch 1.21.0 rolls out across all platforms this week, marking the third consecutive weekly patch following the larger content drops of Season 3. This cycle continues the team's stated commitment to smaller, more frequent updates rather than long gaps between major releases.

The headline additions are a new Raider Tool -- the specifics of which are store-exclusive as of the patch drop -- and a new Backpack set for players who want to customize their operative's loadout appearance. Neither addition has direct gameplay implications, but both expand the customization options available to players.

On the stability front, a crash condition affecting DirectX 11 users has been resolved. This was a longstanding issue that primarily impacted players on older hardware configurations, causing the game to terminate during loading screens on certain map transitions.

Three gameplay fixes are included: players can no longer get stuck inside the Harvester geometry or between destroyed ARC parts during cleanup phases, and an exploit allowing players to walk through walls when picking up Fuel Cell or Field Crate items has been closed. These fixes improve both the competitive integrity and the basic playability of the affected maps.

Developer notes confirm that Flashpoint overhaul is still on track for the week of March 31, and that the next larger content-heavy update is planned for the end of March. This aligns with the previously announced cadence of end-of-month major updates alternating with weekly quality-of-life patches.
