Community Event: Weekly Raid Night Returns This Friday

The community-organized Weekly Raid Night is back every Friday at 8 PM EST. Join hundreds of Raiders for coordinated squad play, mentorship runs for newer players, and weekly prize giveaways.

After a brief hiatus during the mid-season content drought, Weekly Raid Night is officially returning to the Arc Raiders community calendar — and this time, it's bigger than ever. Starting this Friday, March 7, the event runs every week at 8 PM EST across all platforms, with coordinated squad channels in the official Arc Raiders Discord, the subreddit, and several regional community hubs.

The format has been refined based on community feedback from previous seasons. Each Friday session opens with a 30-minute mentorship block designed for newer players — experienced Raiders volunteer as squad leads and pair up with players still learning the ropes. The mentorship block focuses on core mechanics: extraction fundamentals, weak-point targeting, and build optimization. It's a low-pressure environment where asking questions is actively encouraged.

Following the mentorship block, the main event runs for approximately two hours. Squads tackle high-difficulty missions — typically 4-star and 5-star Trials, boss-kill challenges, and zone-clear speed runs. The community tracks aggregate stats across all participating squads and publishes a weekly leaderboard every Sunday morning. The top-performing squad earns a Discord role and a feature spot on the community hub's front page.

Prize giveaways are back by popular demand. Each Friday session includes a random-gear giveaway drawn from items contributed by volunteer community members. Prizes range from in-game currency bundles to exclusive cosmetic codes. The community also runs a seasonal raffle for a custom controller skin designed by a community artist — the winning ticket is drawn live during the Friday session in week 4 of each season.

Participation requires nothing more than joining the official Arc Raiders Discord and signing up in the Raid Night sign-up channel. Squad formation happens 15 minutes before start time to minimize wait times. Players without mics are welcome — text coordination is supported, though voice is strongly recommended for high-difficulty content.
